Every blogger, food writer, foodie and wine connoisseur in Paris seemed to be at the launch party for the new Paris by Mouth website on Monday night at Daniel Rose’s Spring Boutique (52 re de l’Arbre Sec, 1st).
Paris by Mouth is “a collaborative website, edited by established food writers, that is changing the way people find and appreciate delicious things in Paris. We take the food writing that is scattered all over the web, filter out the junk, and present it in a way that helps you follow the trends and find a place to eat tonight.”
Lily Heise and Paris by Mouth Editor, Meg Zimbeck
The hostess of the evening was Paris by Mouth editor Meg Zimbeck. Her team of contributing editors are Barbra Austin, Alexander Lobrano, Chrisos, Clotilde Dusoulier, Dorie Greenspan, John Talbott, Julot, Phyllis Flick, Sophie Brissaud, and Wendy Lyn. Some of the faces at the party included Laura and Braden of Hidden Kitchen, David Lebovitz, Lily Heise of Context Paris, Olivier Magny of O-Château (which happens to be next door to Spring), Katia and Kyliemac of K&K Podcast, Forest Collins of 52 Martinis, “Food Creative” Rachel Khoo, Camille of Croque-Camille, Lauren Elkin aka La Maitress, Elise Pierce the Cowgirl Chef, Sebastien of Château du Petit Thouars, Zeva Bellel of Yelp.fr, Elisabeth Fourmont of La Coquette, Ellen McBreen of Paris Muse, Melissa of Prête-moi Paris, and most likely a few more friends and fellow bloggers I’ve left out…
