It looks like such a lovely hat, and considering how hot it was on Saturday afternoon when I took this photo, I’m sure the owner was quite sad to lose it. I still wonder if he had wandered off to look for an RATP employee to fish it out (NEVER jump down onto the tracks if you’ve dropped something), or if he decided, considering the filth and rats, that he’d rather not put it back on his head anyway.
