My-Tho Vietnamese Restaurant

18 rue Flatters, 5th
M° Censier Daubenton or Gobelins
Tel 01 45 35 11 27

I live close to Chinatown, and it’s surprisingly hard to find any decent Vietnamese restaurants. But just a few blocks away, on the edge of the 5th arrondissement, this hidden restaurant is absolutely amazing. The Bo Bun is their specialty, but everything is excellent, fresh, and good value for money. I almost died over the pork raviolis. The decor is cozy and colorful, with local artists’ work on display. The young server is actually the owner who took over the restaurant from her parents four years ago. Open for lunch and dinner. Closed Sunday and Monday.  Don’ t miss the amazing Franco-Japanese pastry shop on the corner of Blvd Port Royal and Rue Flatters.
