The 5th annual Rock-en-Seine music festival starts this Friday, with a huge lineup including Bjork, Tool, Jesus & Mary Chain, Arcade Fire, the Shins, the Hives, Emilie Simon, and Jarvis Cocker. The three-day festival (which will probably be a mudbath, considering the amount of rain we’ve been having) takes place in the Parc de St-Cloud, on the western edge of Paris. Great venue, great bands, and even a campsite for holders of three-day passes (which are still available for €98). I will be there all three days, reporting from the comfort of the press tent. But if you happen to spot me doing a bit of crowd-surfing (then I’m obviously drunk, someone slap me), or chilling out at the Champagne stand (it’s France, after all), do say hello!
Check out my report from Rock-en-Seine 2006.
Wow, only €98? That’s pretty inexpensive for so much music. Way to rock the press pass!
