Bobin’O Tries Again

The historic Bobin’O cabaret reopened in 2008 to much fanfare. It was a fun cabaret, very interactive and original compared to the Lido/Moulin Rouge. And it had some truely amazing club nights in the venue after the shows finished. So I was a bit sad to see it close.

Now it’s open again, but it seems the clubbing is over, and the cabaret has basically been repurposed as a concert venue like all of the others in Paris. Currently on the program, a few concerts including the 80s band A-Ha (November 10). On a more promising note, they have a long run of the fabulous British vaudeville-acrobat troupe, La Clique.

“La Clique’s melange of cabaret, new burlesque, circus sideshow and contemporary variety has taken the world by storm.”

Through November 28th. Could be worth checking out…
