40 rue du Colisée, 8th
M° Franklin D. Roosevelt
Every Thursday night from 9:30pm until 10:45pm, Régine’s welcomes 200 ladies for this free soirée which includes unlimited cocktails, dinner, a beauty bar, and an interactive male striptease show. Dress code: very sexy (you have to compete to get past the doorman with a sea of 20-something gazelles). Sit towards the front if you want to be one of the lucky ladies chosen to play with the Sheik, Zorro, or the Fireman. Cheesy? A little. But the quality is quite impressive. Come see for yourselves! At 11:30pm gentlemen are invited in for dancing to local DJs until dawn. There is also a fumoir in a separate room for the addicts among you.
For the Au Bonheure des Dames soirées reserve your place at Tel 06 21 70 52 56
Organizer :Anne-Sophie Baillet relationspubliques@regine-paris.com
PS This used to be at Régine’s and is now in its own venue, the old Les Planches club, just around the corner.
I am not sure if they are happy to see any people they don’t know…so foreigner are very likely to be refused, if they don’t have the measures 90/60/90, a skirt which hardly covers the bottom etc.!! We reserved and received a confirmation for 5 people. We were very well dressed with high-heels and classy dresses… Parisian style, but it was either the fact that we were foreigners and talking in all languages, but not french or they only let people in, they know. As they rejected almost all girls in the queue!!!I am not very sure about their policy, but I think the description of the place is very overrated!!I have never done this, but I strongly advice you NOT to go there. This is Paris, there are better places to go.
Hello Maryanne,Definitely reserve a table by email (and print the printed confirmation with you — please tell them you read about it in Naughty Paris Guide, they will be happy for foreigners finding it), but not for more than 4-6 people, since they’re not that big. Finally, get there earlyish so you’re at the front, dress well, and grit teeth as you wait for door to open while your feet die in their stilettos (small price to pay for free eye candy). ;)Let me know how it goes! Heather
I have a friend coming to visit me from London at the end of March and I was wondering if anybody has any tips on how we are guaranteed entry? It is definitely something I know she would love to do while here in this beautiful city!Do you need to email ahead to book a place and does this guarantee you entry? Is it better to book with for a group of people (say ten people booking, for example)? And, if so, does anybody want to come along the last Thursday in March???
FYI, the soirée has moved locations and is now at 40 rue du Colisée, 8th (right around the corner from Régine’s). Same contact info and website!
They’re def not racist. You just gotta know someone who organizes the parties there or a guy who is a regular.
It is free becaus ethey get sponsors to pay for the drinks, and because after the show all of the men come and pay a lot of money on drinks to be with a bar full of women. ;)Reservations are for Thursday nights.
This sounds quite fun, but I’m suspicious of the "free" label…nothing in Paris is free! What’s the catch? Also, do you need to make a reservation for the regular Thurs night soirée, or only for special events? Thanks! Great guide 🙂
That’s funny. I go with friends all of the time who are not white, and we get in. I think that like any other nightclub in Paris, it’s the mood of the doorman that determines who gets in.
Well don’t bother getting there early because they will not come to the door until 10 at the earliest.Don’t bother coming unless you are either famous or a giant white blond. As I learned the other day they do not accept anyone from ethnic minorities, I saw quite a number being turned down and not because they were unattractive. I think their definition of sexy is definitely racist! This club is a real embarrasment for Paris and for us Parisians.
