Situated in the Tuileries Garden, this museum arranged by Monet with his collection of Nympheas, offers a collection of works from other famous artists such as Cézanne, Matisse, Picasso and Renoir.
Opening Hours: Daily except Tuesday from 12:30pm-7pm (until 9pm on Fridays). Closed May 1 and December 25.
Tickets: Entry to the Museum is €7.50, reduced rate of €5 for visitors under 18, students and teachers. Additional €2 applied during exhibitions.Combined ticket with the Musée d’Orsay €13.
Free Entrance: First Sunday of each month.
Info and Services: Audioguide in English is available for €5 and €3 for students. The library-boutique is open from 9am-6:30pm (until 8:30pm on Fridays). Accessible to wheelchair users. Coat check-in is free.
Heather’s note: A very contemporary setting for Monet’s famous paintings. Be sure to reserve your tickets in advance (at least one day, see the website for info) in order to avoid the loooooong outdoor lines.
