An opulent XIXth century home exhibits a fine collection of French, Dutch and Renaissance paintings.
Opening Hours: Daily from 10am-6pm.
Tickets: Entry to the Museum is €9.50, reduced rate of €7 for students, disabled and kids 7-17.
Free Entrance: Kids under 7 and kids with the purchase of three tickets per family.
Info and Services: Visitors are provided with a free interactive audioguide available in English. The Café is open daily from 11:45am-5:00 pm. A bookshop offers a large selection of items pertaining to the collection.
Heather’s Notes: This is one of my favorite museums. Small, elegant, usually uncrowded…it’s a great peek into the lives of the couple who left this house and their art collection to the State. You don’t need a museum ticket to visit the gorgeous café, still decorated with tapestries and gilt-framed paintings.
