This unique labor of love hidden on a tiny street behind St-Sulpice Church was created in 2013 by a lone professor of linguistics from New Zealand. You might not think a museum dedicated to explaining and even simplifying languages and linguistics could work, but it does, and manages to have a sneaky sense of humor at the same time! It’s only 170m² on two levels (complete with ancient wooden beams and vaulted stone passages that add to the charm), but it manages to pack in a LOT for anyone who is ready to lose themselves in these rooms crammed full of extremely interesting artifacts and presentations.
