* Free Classical Improvisation Concert Tonight *
Have you ever seen classical improvisation live? Tonight is your chance to see Japanese-American pianist Alexander Kato-Willis create gorgeous, classical music before your eyes during a free discovery concert at the Institut Finlandais (60 rue des Ecoles, 5th). Every note is created in the moment; no performance is ever the same. This type of classical improvisation has not been seen since Beethoven’s day! The concert lasts around an hour with a reception to follow. Other concert dates (tickets €15-€20) are June 16, 23, and 27 (the final one in a gorgeous private residence on rue Saint-Honoré).
