Secrets of Paris Road Trip! – Family Vacation in the South of France

I’m finally escaping Paris for the first vacation since February, heading to the South of France with my partner Fred and his extended family for a week of lying comatose on the beach (this won’t actually happen, but I like to imagine it will anyway), followed by a second week where Fred and I work our way back up to Paris slowly, stopping for a night or two in several villages along the way. But first, I have to get out of the city itself, so here’s the first post from the Gare de Lyon train station, where I’ve got a bit of time to kill before my TGV.
