Secrets of Paris Community Update: May 21, 2026

This month’s update includes two excellent museum expositions — one on American war photographer Lee Miller and another on books, propaganda, and violence at the Bibliothèque de l’Arsenal — along with new additions to the Paris flea market and Faubourg Saint-Antoine guides, overlooked boutiques and cafés, vegan-friendly dining finds, and a closer look at the fascinating history of Sainte-Marguerite Church. I also share a few recent discoveries around Paris, from street art and birdhouses on the Gare de Lyon façade to my less-than-convinced reaction to JR’s giant “cave” installation wrapping the Pont Neuf.
