Fred and I arrived at the Château de Creissels, our historic hotel in a little town over the hill from Millau, famous for its massive, multi-span cable-stayed bridge crossing the gorge of the Tarn Valley in Southern France. Unable to resist a full day without a swim, we skip the hotel’s pool and head straight for the local waterfall.
