Vegan Markets
- Marché de Noël Végane – November 29-30
Open noon-7pm at Le Hasard Ludique, 128 Ave St-Ouen, 18th.
This two-day vegan Christmas market with 30 stands stretching along the covered terrace of the Petite Ceinture railway tracks, features clothing, décor, accessories, fine foods, and plant-based sweets. Visitors can browse a wide range of vegan makers and food producers, from plant-based “foie gras” and dairy alternatives to herbal teas, condiments, kombucha, ginger specialties, upcycled jewelry, 3D-printed recycled-plastic vases, seasonal flowers, ceramics, and more. - Slow Femme Festive Fair – December 6
Open from 3pm at Abricot Bar, 189 Rue St-Maur, 10th.
The women-owned Parisian bar (that also happens to be 100% vegan) is hosting their second annual artisan fair for the holidays, featuring fun cocktails (of course!) and small, women-owned Parisian businesses and artisans including: high-end second-hand pieces perfect for holiday outfits, gifting, or treating yourself by Brigitte Jude of Paris Paris; feminist, witchy, and wildly cool tattoos by Marianne Trifunovic of Femmonstre; Kasia Dietz’s limited edition handbags made in Paris; whimsical analog collage artworks by Ava La Compasseresse de Courtivron; hand-painted bookmarks by Katya Babash; pastel portraits by Madison Coakley; and handcrafted clothing & accessories by Ukrainian designer Kateryna Semenova of FR.UA Shop.
- Noël Rebelle Vegan Christmas Market – December 6-7
Open noon-7pm at La Cité Fertile (14 avenue Edouard Vaillant, Pantin). This vegan Eco-Village de Noël is organized again this year by Franck of Vegan Tourist Paris at La Cité Fertile, a former freight station transformed into a hub for ecological and social transition. There will be delicious plant-based alternatives to foie gras and raclette cheese, pastries and chocolates, vegan leather goods, and handmade and artistic creations to offer as gifts. There will also be a vegan Christmas street food menu by Jimmy’s Street Food and Macadam Mia: vegan foie gras burgers, hot dogs with melted vegan cheese, chai spice cheesecake, and Southeast Asian specialties at the Veggitive stand: bahn mi, kebabs, and Thai curry. Free entry. - Vegan Pastry Baking Class – December 27
From 10am-noon at Wecandoo (60 Rue de Cléry, 2nd).
Brush up on your French baking vocabulary if you want to participate in this 2-hour class with the talented French pastry chef Chloé and her team at Wecandoo to learn how to make your very own Chocolate Raspberry Entremet, a traditionally French layered dessert that will impress even your non-vegan dinner guests. €85/person, only 4-8 students per class.
Vegan Holiday Meals
- Paris en Scène Dinner Cruise – December 24th and 31st
Cruises at 7:15pm and 9:45pm from embarkment on the Île aux Cygnes (access via Pont de Bir-Hakeim, 15th)
Enjoy a holiday dinner cruise on the Seine with a festive 4-course menu — one of the only dinner cruises offering a vegan menu option — for €145 on the 24th, and €165 on the 31st. - Daiment New Year’s Eve Vegan Feast – December 31st
Two services from 7pm and 9:30pm at Faubourg Daiment (20, rue du Faubourg Poissonnière, 10th) and Daiment Saint-Honoré (24, place du Marche St-Honoré, 1st).
The two restaurants of the Daiment Collective, self-described “Houses of Pleasure”, are currently the only high-end vegan dining options in Paris. For the holidays, they’re serving a special New Year’s Eve vegan menu for €95-€110 (plus a glass of Champagne to start the evening for those at the second service). Payment is required when booking, but can be cancelled more than 48 hours before the event. - Friendly Kitchen Dîner du Réveillon – December 31st
Seatings at 7pm and 9:30pm at the Friendly Kitchen (8 rue Popincourt, 11th)
The friendly kitchen is a 100% vegan restaurant offering homemade and mostly gluten-free cuisine. Their seasonal organic cuisine is accompanied by a selection of vegan and organic wines (or those from sustainable agriculture), beers and other craft drinks (with or without alcohol). For 2025 they’re serving a special Christmas Eve menu (lunch and waitlist for dinner), as well as a 6-course New Year’s Eve vegan menu (€75 without drinks). - New Year’s Eve Menu at Bloom Sushi – December 31st
Two seatings at 7pm and 9:30pm at Friendly Kitchen (99 Rue Jouffroy d’Abbans, 17th)
This trendy vegan sushi restaurant (where one wonders if everyone even realizes it’s vegan) is serving a special Omakase des Fêtes sushi menu throughout the holidays (December 8th- January 8th), €85 for two. On the 31st they’re hosting a festive gourmet New Year’s Eve dinner, accompanied with a glass of Pommery Champagne or French Bloom (non-alcoholic), for €47.50/person (prepaid when reserving here). Those who prefer to celebrate at home can pre-order their sushi boxes to go. Note that they’ll be closed for dinner on Dec 24th, and all day Dec 25th and Jan 1st.
Vegan Shops, Tea Rooms & Bars
Just because you’re vegan doesn’t mean you need to deprive yourself of classic French holiday pastries such as the bûche de Noël or Galette du Roi. There are now many addresses in Paris to find excellent vegan versions:
- Land & Monkeys (2 Rue de Turenne, 4th, and eight other addresses in Paris) is a full vegan bakery and pastry shop, where you can get breads, quiches, salads, croissants, pastries, and even chocolate mousse. If you didn’t know it was vegan, you might not even notice the difference from any other French bakery.
- Abricot Bar (189 Rue St-Maur, 10th) is a women-owned bar that serves fun and creative cocktails (with or without alcohol), bar snacks, and weekend brunch, all 100% vegan (and as someone who is allergic to eggs, I found out the hard way that many French bars put egg whites in their cocktails without mentioning it on the menu). While closed December 22nd-28th, they’re hosting a ton of holiday events throughout the month of December, including the market mentioned above, Holiday Rom-Com movie nights on Tuesdays, festive music and socializing events for the Holiday Weekend December 12th-14th, and “A Very Abricot New Year’s Eve” party on the 31st to ring in 2026 in style.
- Aujourd’hui Demain (42 Rue de Chemin Vert, 11th) is a vegan restaurant, food market, and concept store selling vegan foods and ingredients, as well as vegan wines and beers, clothing and accessories, and a good selection of vegan Advent Calendars, chocolates, candies, and homemade cakes to order. Open until 4pm on December 24th and 31st.
- VG Pâtisserie (123 Boulevard Voltaire, 11th) is a vegan pastry shop and bakery, which in addition to their usual treats, is selling Bûches de Noël and giant gingerbread men from December 5th through January 1st (orders should be placed at least a day in advance). Exceptionally open Monday the 22nd (otherwise closed Mondays and Tuesday mornings), and closed on December 25th.
- Jo & Nana Cakes (14 Rue Abel, 12th) A charming vegan tearoom and pastry shop that also has gluten-free options for the holidays. Order larger bûches de Noël a few days in advance. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- Giardino Paris (147 rue Cardinet, 17th) is a vegan tearoom and pastry shop that also delivers. They have two bûches de Noël, a hazelnut and vanilla Forêt Noisette and an almond citrus Jardin d’Hiver.
