Yet Another Covid Update
Oh, how I can’t wait for the day I don’t have to start each newsletter with a Covid update! (you, too, no doubt) It seems sheer optimism about the vaccination rates got us through the holidays without shutting everything back down (barely), but we’re roaring into a new year with a fight in the French parliament over changing the Pass Sanitaire into a Pass Vaccinal (meaning you’d need to be vaccinated, whereas now a negative test suffices). I was holding out on this newsletter until the French parliament was finished debating, but for now, assume it will come into effect starting January 15th (since visitors can’t come without vaccinations anyway, this won’t affect most of you).
