In last month’s newsletter, we were only on Day 20 of the Lockdown in Paris. I have continued my daily website updates until Day 40 (April 28th) — when I considered myself officially “quarantined” — and have continued with updates every five days since then (see the links below). I also still post my rare outings around the 13th arrondissement and my amateur ukulele balcony concerts on Instagram. I should note that the French are still clapping from their windows at 8pm — every single evening — in support of healthcare workers, even as their attention is more and more diverted to the May 11th deconfinement preparations. As of this morning we’ve had 25,201 deaths due to Coronavirus in France, but only 306 in the past 24 hours, and the number of new hospital admissions has gone down every day since peakin…
