They also have Rice Crispie Treats, carrot cake, and pitchers of real homemade lemonade (poured by our lovely American hostess Laurel). Bonus points for the large wooden communal table with mismatched chairs where you can hang out with a good book (or your laptop), chatting with the other patrons and the friendly owners. It reminds me of the unpretentious coffee shop I used to frequent in my Minnesota college town. A simple, sweet, and authentic slice of Americana for expats en manque.
